This project is a concept travel guide designed for Discover Atlanta, made to highlight various attractions around the city. I began this process by researching the city of Atlanta, its history, and what people enjoy doing when they visit. The guide's style direction focuses on emulating the city’s playfulness through vibrant colors, landmark drawings, and a funky typeface.
Atlanta is a bustling city filled with beautiful scenery, vibrant energy, and various communities that appeal to artists and art lovers. Reducing the number of activities and places to see was the biggest challenge of this project. Atlanta offers a variety of attractions, so I refined my research building by building a guide around three themes that represents the city’s unique qualities: food, play, and nature.
The final design of this travel guide overcame the challenge of there being so much to do in the city by providing people with attractions and restaurants that give them a well-rounded feel of Atlanta.
